Kenzie learns about the toilet

Today Kenzie learned how to flush the toilet. She enjoyed it for quite awhile. Now if I could only teach her to go potty in the toilet first, then I'd be really happy!!!

I'm back... with some big news!!

I'm so sorry I have neglected this blog for so long. Today is St Patty's Day. March 17th 2012. Kenzie Rose is now 3 days shy of 10 months old. She wants to walk so badly... and is almost doing so on her own. It won't be long now. She is my little people lover. If there is a kid nearby, she is one happy little girl! She has yet to meet a stranger.
Anyways, she isn't "talking" yet, but can say bu-bu (bye-bye) with a wave, and mama and dadda if she's in the mood. She has 2 teeth on the bottom and a toothless top. :-) And get this... she's got blonde hair, blue eyes and has dimples on her cheeks! I'm still not sure she's mine. JK

As for an update on our little family, we are moving! We are under contract for our current home. Hopefully we will be putting an offer on a house this evening or tomorrow morning. It's in Schertz, Tx. Which is a whole 10 mins away from where we currently live, but a much nicer part of town. We are very excited to see God moving in our lives! Brady is still running his fence and deck company, and is also working at our church part time. He helps out with all the outdoor construction/grounds stuff. He stays very busy. I am a stay at home mom. I have started a small group for other stay at home moms and wives on Wednesday mornings. I also host an activity group for soon to be moms and moms with babies and young children. It's like a support network, but we do crafts, movie nights, and make baby food. It's a fun group! It's nice to be able to hang out with other moms and their babies and not have to worry about my kid crying or being loud. Kenzie enjoys playing with the other babies too.

Well onto the big news. This morning we found out that Thanksgiving is going to be quite the adventure for us. Baby McD #2 is due (by the web's due date calculator) on November 20th. That's right, ladies and gents, I'm pregnant... again! 4 1/2 weeks as of today. We are both in shock at the moment. Kenzie is, of course, going to love having another kid around all the time. And potty training will be starting the day she starts to walk solo. We are going to get this done before baby #2 make his/her appearance.
